Nonsense Rhymes - VIII (The Fading Past..)

Well, here is the Eighth Edition of Nonsense Rhymes. What started off as a one off attempt at rhyme without reason, is becoming a regular routine. So much so that I am tempted to call it my hobby now.

I was the onlooker,
As the milestones rolled.

I was the witness,
Who saw events unfold.

I was the audience,
To the story being told.

Yet.. as I rewind my life,
I can hardly recognize,
The road I once strolled.

Statutory Warning:- Reading nonsense poetry is injurious to mental health.

While I agree with ur vision of the next Vivekanad but I somehow disagree about 'Read & Type'. I somehow feel that Humans are known to invent tools to suit their habits than change their habits as per tools avbl.

I am sure very soon we are going to see handwriting and voice recognition technologies become stronger and we will see a shift back to 'handwriting' but a major shift will be towards spoken communication.

Podcasts are already a lifestyle phenomenon - soon they might enter the mainstream.

Another thought is that a lot will depend on geography and culture. The east might see a rise in 'voice' based interactions while the west might see a rise in the (hand)written word. I make this assumption based on the popularity & usage patterns of Mobile phones in the east and west.
